No experience of Yoga is required for
the beginners course.
You will learn the basic postures
working with other students of the same level. The instructions
and demonstrations that form the course will introduce you to
the many lifestyle benefits Yoga delivers.
Each course runs for 6 weeks with one
class per week. Many students also elect to attend casual
classes whilst taking the beginners course.
Please be aware pregnant women should
not attend general or beginners classes. Ante and Post Natal
classes are available.
Beginners General Information
We suggest comfortable clothing as you would wear for the gym.
Yoga is practised barefoot. If you eat before a class ensure it
is a light meal eaten at least 1 ½ hours before class. Also
ensure you have taken sufficient water prior to the class as
drinking during a Yoga class is not recommended. We also ask our
students not to apply perfume or after shave prior to attending
class. If needed feel free to bring a hand towel, we supply all
necessary equipment for your practise.
